Alfred Dunhill Links Championships Round Up

Finally catching up on the last few days of the Dunhill Links after travelling to Saint Andrews to see Jamie last Saturday. I had a fabulous day up at Kingsbarns so if you’re all still with me here is a small recount of the day.

My friend and I set off from St Andrews for Kingsbarns at 7:15 to catch the hourly bus and arrived there at 8:10 where lots of people were already gathered for the start of the third day. We moved over to the designated autograph area where the weather was already threatening rain and it became cold rather quickly. Jamie arrived at around 9:30 with Matthew Goode and shortly afterward his play was underway on hole 10. Thankfully on our way around the first part of the course the weather started to turn and the sun made an appearance on hole 11 making for some perfect picture shots. The views from the 12th hole were amazing and felt so lucky to be stood there watching Jamie play alongside Ronan Keating, Tyrrell Hatton and Lee Westwood. My favourite moments of the tournament was when Jamie shot from the 17th hole and his ball landed quite a way from everyone else in some tall grass so had to go and retrieve it. From our position you couldn’t really see where he was so Tyrrell waved at him so he could see where everyone else was and Jamie slowly appeared over a small hill with both hands waving and laughing at them. Of course at that point I had just put my camera away and it was something I’d of love to have caught. Another was on the second round when he hit a ball and someone shouted ‘incoming’ because he nearly hit someone with his shot. To cut a long story short after missing Jamie at the Grenfell charity game I got my opportunity to get my picture signed and a selfie with Jamie which he thankfully took due to being on an incline and myself being vertically challenged. I really hope he does the tournament next year because for all I’m no lover of golf it was an amazing day.

I have added all pictures taken by me to the gallery including some footage which can be found below. I hope you all enjoy browsing the ones taken from day one, two, three and four. Finally, a very belated congratulations to Jamies pro-partner for the second year running, Tyrrell who won the competition defending last years title. 3 times a charm?

Alfred Dunhill Links Championship Preview

Earlier today Jamie alongside Matthew Goode and Brian O’Driscoll took part in a small warm up round in readiness for the start of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championships tomorrow. Like last year he has been partnered alongside Tyrrell Hatton and will help begin the defense of the title tomorrow at St Andrews at 11:12am before moving on to Carnoustie and Kingsbarns on Friday and Saturday respectively. High quality images have been added to the gallery with more to come over the next few days. Pictures from Friday and Saturday will be delayed as I am off to watch him play over the weekend. Robin Hood: Origins Pushed back for Fall 2018 Release

Lionsgate released a number of release date changes this afternoon, chiefly that its Leonardo DiCaprio-produced Robin Hood will now open on September 21, 2018 in Imax versus the previous March 23 date next year. Robin Hood will be a destination for older guys with the only competition that weekend being Sony’s kid pic Goosebumps 2.

Peaky Blinders’ Otto Bathurst directs Taron Egerton (Robin Hood), Jamie Foxx (Little John), Jamie Dornan (Will Scarlett), Eve Hewson (Maid Marian) and Paul Anderson in what is a darkly toned title that follows the classic hero following his Crusades battles. Returning to Sherwood Forest, Robin Hood finds it rife with corruption and evil. He forms a band of outlaws, and they take matters into their own hands, leading a revolt against the corrupt English crown.

March 23 was quite crowded with Paramount’s Action Point and Sherlock Gnomes and Universal/Legendary’s Pacific Rim Uprising. Key word here for Robin Hood on its new date in September next year: The film has Imax screens.

Fifty Shades of Grey Screen Captures

So here we are, my first official update. This is taking longer than I had planned due to the sheer volume of content I’m having to collect, especially where Jamies projects are concerned. I am aware I won’t ever get everything I need but I’m willing to take longer to post to try and make sections as complete as they possibly can be. Lots of high quality screen captures from the first film of the Fifty Shades Trilogy have been added to the gallery along with additional stills and finally captures from the Blu Ray extras.

And on that note, Mr Grey will see you now..

New Owner

Hi guys, my name is Helen and I’m the new owner of Jamie Dornan Network and I can’t wait to start work on it. I’d like to thank Jess for the opportunity to be allowed to run the site and Jen, Ashley, Emily and Kaci et al for their enthusiasm and encouragement in applying for it. There are going to be a lot of changes over the next few months as I begin to get the site back up to date including a new theme, biography, career section and other things going on behind the scenes. Please be patient with me as there is a lot that has gone on since the last update
