Yesterday Jamie attended the The Sugarplum Dinner to raise awareness for World Diabetes Day (November 14th) alongside Millie at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Gorgeous high quality pictures have been added to the gallery with hopefully more to come later
Finally catching up on the last few days of the Dunhill Links after travelling to Saint Andrews to see Jamie last Saturday. I had a fabulous day up at Kingsbarns so if you’re all still with me here is a small recount of the day.
My friend and I set off from St Andrews for Kingsbarns at 7:15 to catch the hourly bus and arrived there at 8:10 where lots of people were already gathered for the start of the third day. We moved over to the designated autograph area where the weather was already threatening rain and it became cold rather quickly. Jamie arrived at around 9:30 with Matthew Goode and shortly afterward his play was underway on hole 10. Thankfully on our way around the first part of the course the weather started to turn and the sun made an appearance on hole 11 making for some perfect picture shots. The views from the 12th hole were amazing and felt so lucky to be stood there watching Jamie play alongside Ronan Keating, Tyrrell Hatton and Lee Westwood. My favourite moments of the tournament was when Jamie shot from the 17th hole and his ball landed quite a way from everyone else in some tall grass so had to go and retrieve it. From our position you couldn’t really see where he was so Tyrrell waved at him so he could see where everyone else was and Jamie slowly appeared over a small hill with both hands waving and laughing at them. Of course at that point I had just put my camera away and it was something I’d of love to have caught. Another was on the second round when he hit a ball and someone shouted ‘incoming’ because he nearly hit someone with his shot. To cut a long story short after missing Jamie at the Grenfell charity game I got my opportunity to get my picture signed and a selfie with Jamie which he thankfully took due to being on an incline and myself being vertically challenged. I really hope he does the tournament next year because for all I’m no lover of golf it was an amazing day.
I have added all pictures taken by me to the gallery including some footage which can be found below. I hope you all enjoy browsing the ones taken from day one, two, three and four. Finally, a very belated congratulations to Jamies pro-partner for the second year running, Tyrrell who won the competition defending last years title. 3 times a charm?
Earlier today Jamie alongside Matthew Goode and Brian O’Driscoll took part in a small warm up round in readiness for the start of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championships tomorrow. Like last year he has been partnered alongside Tyrrell Hatton and will help begin the defense of the title tomorrow at St Andrews at 11:12am before moving on to Carnoustie and Kingsbarns on Friday and Saturday respectively. High quality images have been added to the gallery with more to come over the next few days. Pictures from Friday and Saturday will be delayed as I am off to watch him play over the weekend. Enjoy guys!
All missing public appearances have been uploaded which now means that the events section is now fully up to date in time for the Alfred Dunhill Links in 2 weeks time. Over 2000 high quality images can now be viewed in the gallery with some of those taken by myself at the Game4Grenfell and I hope you all enjoy browsing through them. Only pictures taken by me will be tagged so if any others are used for edits etc a link back will always be more than appreciated
